Welcome!

At ENCOUNTER Worship, we believe that God is for everyone, and worship should be planned and led to help all people meet with God, regardless of age and ability.

On this website you’ll find resources and ideas to help you plan inclusive worship in your own setting. We are an experienced team and want to share our skills and knowledge to help more churches and faith communities worship together.

About Us

Back in 2018 Rachael and Vanessa went to Spring Harvest in Harrogate. As they set off, their minister challenged them; “fix all-age worship!”

After attending a seminar led by Nick and Becky Drake (Worship for Everyone), a vision for ENCOUNTER emerged over a pizza.

Back in their home town of Hull, they planned the next all-age service and it was a success. Katy enthusiastically joined the team later – and now the group want to share their vision with you and your church.

Accessibility

Accessibility is at the heart of our worship, so that all can encounter God together regardless of age, ability and Biblical understanding. We have easy-to-implement ideas that you can adapt to your context.

Testimonials

“A special time this morning at Anlaby Park Methodist Church, being part of their ‘ENCOUNTER’ – intergenerational – worship. The gifted local team had crafted a creative and helpful order of worship thinking about the Coronation, and King Jesus’ invitation to his banquet. I was asked to provide 9 words I’d include in my talk. I think it was the first time anyone has shouted ‘BINGO’ during my talk!! And the highlight, for me, was people laying their crowns before Jesus … it was very moving.”
